new road cameras victoria

“New road cameras Victoria” isn’t a rumour—it’s your car’s least favourite paparazzi expanding their portfolio.

Alongside the usual speed and red-light units, Victoria is rolling out AI-assisted cameras that detect mobile phone use and seatbelt non-compliance, day or night, rain or shine.

They can be fixed, portable, or point-to-point for average speed, and images are reviewed by humans before a stern letter arrives.

If you fancy keeping your licence and your coin, watch the speedo, stash the phone, and click the belt; official channels publish current locations and updates.
