new utes coming to australia 2023 Page 4

As far as ute arrivals went, 2023 in Australia was busier than a Bunnings car park at 9:01am. The all-new Volkswagen Amarok finally rolled in, Ford’s Ranger lineup kept expanding (with Raptor mania in full swing), and full-sizers like Chevrolet Silverado 1500—including the ZR2—and updated Ram 1500s thundered onto forecourts.

Value champs piled in too: GWM launched the Cannon XSR, LDV sharpened the T60 Max range, and Isuzu D‑MAX plus Mazda BT‑50 scored MY23 safety/tech tweaks. Toyota kept the HiLux interesting with running updates and special editions, while Navara continued its Warrior shtick. Supply was a lucky dip, so exact timing and trims varied by state and dealer. Translation: plenty of fresh metal to tow, haul and pose with—just expect a waitlist and keep your deposit pen handy.
