nissan navara vs ford ranger 2023

Shopping tradie utes? In 2023 the Ford Ranger rolled in fresh and flashy, while the Nissan Navara stuck to its tough-as-nails routine.

• Navara pros: Generally sharper pricing, comfy coil-sprung rear in most dual-cabs, decent diesel economy, easy to live with size.
• Navara cons: Older cabin tech and safety kit, less grunt, and a cabin that’s more work boots than boardroom.

• Ranger pros: Strong engine options (including a V6 diesel), excellent infotainment and driver assists, composed towing manners, huge aftermarket.
• Ranger cons: Higher purchase and insurance costs, thirstier in V6 guise, and it feels big in tight city carparks.

Both claim 3,500 kg braked towing and seat five without a fuss. Test-drive both; your driveway and accountant will settle the argument.
