nissan service cost Page 28

Wondering about Nissan service cost in Australia? New cars on Nissan’s capped‑price program typically run about AUD $250–$450 for minor services and AUD $500–$900 for majors, model‑dependent. Once you’re out of warranty (used), dealers are similar but can creep higher, while a good independent often comes in 10–25% cheaper—especially if you supply OEM‑spec parts. Expect pricier visits for turbos, diesels, and anything needing CVT fluid, spark plugs, or brake fluid at major intervals. Most Nissans use timing chains (less drama than belts), but pads and rotors can still ambush your wallet. Stick to 10,000–15,000 km or 12‑month intervals to keep the drivetrain chirpy and resale on side, and always get an itemised quote before handing over the keys.
