old caravans Page 3

Old caravans have a certain charm, like a vintage dog that's seen better days but still tries to fetch the paper. They usually come with basic amenities and less insulation, which means you might be embracing the great Australian outdoors a bit more intimately than you'd like. Prices vary wildly depending on condition, ranging from a couple of thousand AUD for a fixer-upper to around $15,000 for a well-maintained classic. Common issues include:

• Leaky roofs and windows
• Faulty electrical systems
• Deteriorated seals and rust
• Outdated gas fittings
