order new number plates vic Page 12

In Victoria, you order new number plates through VicRoads, and personalised options via Personalised Plates Victoria. For damaged or faded plates, request a replacement online or at a VicRoads Customer Service Centre with ID and your vehicle details.

If plates are lost or stolen, report it to police to get a reference number, then have VicRoads cancel them and issue replacements—fees apply, as always. Upgrading to personalised plates? Pick your combo, pay the fee, and be ready to surrender your old plates if required.

Once the new plates arrive, fit them securely and update any toll or parking accounts so the cameras don’t think you’ve gone off-grid.
