pajero sport review 2023 Page 3

The 2023 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a rugged, ladder‑frame 4x4 that still smells faintly of ute—because it basically is one, in a suit.

Its 2.4‑litre turbo‑diesel and 8‑speed auto are honest rather than heroic, but the Super Select 4WD and proper low range make light work of sand, ruts and family holidays gone feral.

Ride can get a bit choppy unladen, the third row is best for kids, and the cabin tech feels a generation behind the trendy soft-roaders.

On the upside, it tows up to 3.1 tonnes braked, sips reasonably, and tends to be keenly priced against flashier rivals.

If you value durability and capability over mood lighting and TikTok-grade screens, this is your dependable boots‑and‑all choice.
