petrol remote control cars Page 6

Ah, petrol remote control cars: the petrolhead's answer to battery-powered boredom. These beasts pack a small internal combustion engine, typically ranging from 0.15 to 0.30 cubic inches, delivering more grunt and noise than your average electric RC. Expect a thrilling roar and longer run times compared to electrics, but don't forget the charm of fiddly tuning and the occasional fuel spill drama.

Prices for new petrol RC cars can start around $300 AUD and climb up to $1,000 AUD or more for high-end models. Used options might be found cheaper on Tradingpost or CarShowroom, but remember, these machines need love and maintenance.

Perfect for those who prefer the smell of petrol over plastic, but not so much for indoor play or quiet neighbours. For more info, check out specialty RC forums and product manuals.
