Other Pets for Sale under $100 in Queensland - Page 2

Find other pets for sale under $100 in Queensland on Tradingpost, listed by private sellers and businesses right across Australia.

Other Pets covers the animals that do not fit the dog, cat, bird, fish or horse categories: rabbits and guinea pigs, reptiles such as bearded dragons, blue tongues and pythons, poultry including laying hens, ducks and bantams, and small animals like rats, mice and ferrets. Ask how old the animal is, how it has been housed and handled, whether it is used to company or better off on its own, and what it is being fed.

Get the housing sorted before the animal arrives. Rabbits and guinea pigs need space and, in most cases, suitable company; reptiles need their heating, lighting and enclosure running and stable in advance; poultry need a secure run. Ask to see the animal in the enclosure it lives in now, and ask the seller for its age, diet, and any health, desexing or identification records they hold. Some reptiles need a licence or a permit to keep, and councils differ on what poultry you may keep at home, so check what applies where you live before you enquire.

Set your own minimum and maximum to shift the range. Price is only part of the picture here: an animal that suits your home, your set-up and your experience is worth far more than a saving.

Also worth a look: hutches, enclosures and pet accessories, birds, fish, or the wider pets and horses section.
