podium google reviews

Chasing the lowdown on Podium and Google reviews? It’s a reputation toolkit that lets you text customers a review link, nudging them to post on Google, then corrals replies in one tidy inbox.

Done right, it boosts local SEO, speeds up responses, and keeps the star rating ship afloat; done badly (like “review gating”), it runs afoul of Google’s policies—so don’t.

It’s slick, integrates with your systems, and automates nudges, but it isn’t cheap and you still have to reply like a human, not a toaster.

Brilliant for busy clinics, trades, and retailers; sole traders can often get most of the benefit using Google’s free review link plus a sensible SMS/email routine.
