Porsche AG floated in Frankfurt in late 2022, and yes, the ticker really nods to the 911—P911, subtle as a rear wing.

The IPO priced the preferred shares at about €82.50, valuing the company around €75 billion, while Volkswagen kept control via the ordinary shares.

Only a slice of preferred stock hit the market, so the free float is relatively lean and the brand’s destiny still sits firmly in Wolfsburg’s hands.

Proceeds were earmarked for electrification and other go-faster spreadsheets, and early trading suggested investors still melt for fast badges.

Aussie punters generally access it via brokers that trade Frankfurt; mind the currency swings and fees—they can bite harder than a GT3 clutch.
