Western Australia is led by the Premier of Western Australia, who heads the state government and cabinet across the whole state.

Perth is the capital city, so you’ll find a Lord Mayor of the City of Perth, not a city “premier”.

If you’re after the current Premier’s name, it can change with elections or party shuffles, so check the official WA Government site or the latest news.

Short version: state has a Premier, city has a Lord Mayor — and neither will help you parallel park.
