price of tesla australia

Asking the price of a Tesla in Australia is like asking the cost of smashed avo—it depends which café, sorry, state, you’re in. Broadly, new pricing lands around $62k–$92k for Model 3 (RWD to Performance) and $66k–$100k for Model Y, before on‑road costs and options. Drive‑away numbers swing with stamp duty, rego and delivery, plus whatever incentives your state is still dangling.

Used Teslas are a buffet: early Model 3s often $35k–$50k, later low‑km examples $50k–$65k+; Model Y typically $45k–$85k depending spec and battery health. Older Model S and X pop up via the used market from roughly $60k–$150k, with condition and warranty support doing most of the price heavy lifting. For real‑world comps, have a stickybeak on Tradingpost and cross‑check against Tesla’s configurator—then brace for the on‑roads to do their thing.
