proof of vehicle ownership qld Page 38

In Queensland, proof of vehicle ownership typically comes in the form of a registration certificate or a receipt from the transfer of ownership. The Department of Transport and Main Roads issues a registration certificate that acts as your legal proof. If you're buying or selling, the transfer paperwork and receipt from the transaction also serve as evidence. For used vehicles, check Tradingpost or CarShowroom for examples of how sellers present this proof. Remember, without this documentation, you might as well be driving a lawnmower down the highway.
