Chasing the Purling Brook Falls walking track?

It’s a cracking loop in Springbrook National Park in the Gold Coast hinterland, where the only horsepower is your calves.

Expect roughly 4 km, about Grade 3, and allow 2–3 hours with a descent to the base and a tidy climb back out.

Surfaces get wet and slippery after rain, and the circuit is sometimes signed one‑way or closed, so check park alerts before you stomp off.

Add the Warringa Pool side-track for about 2 km return if you fancy a dip, and bring water, sturdy shoes, and a polite respect for gravity.
