The Qilin battery is CATL’s cell‑to‑pack design that squeezes more usable energy into the same space by ditching traditional modules.

It focuses on higher pack‑level energy density and smarter thermal management, so EVs can go farther and charge quicker without the pack getting toasty.

Think less dead space, more cells, and large‑area cooling plates — engineering doing the heavy lifting while the marketing folks shout “next‑gen!”.

You’ll mostly see it in late‑model Chinese EVs, with broader availability flowing to export markets over time; real‑world results depend on each carmaker’s tuning.
