rav4 hybrid towing capacity 2023 Page 2

The 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid can tow up to 1,650 kg when properly equipped, which is quite respectable for a compact SUV hybrid. This makes it suitable for light trailers, small boats, or a couple of jet skis, but don't expect to haul a caravan or heavy gear. The hybrid powertrain combines a 2.5-litre petrol engine with electric motors, delivering a total system output around 219 horsepower. Always ensure your vehicle has the appropriate towing package, including a tow bar and wiring harness, to meet legal and safety requirements. For heavier towing needs, you might want to explore traditional petrol or diesel SUVs. Check Toyota's official specs and guidelines before hitching up your trailer to avoid any nasty surprises on the road.
