remarkable 2 review australia Page 7

In Australia, the reMarkable 2 is the digital notebook for people who want paper vibes without the paper cuts. The writing feel is superb—low latency, a grippy surface, and palm rejection that actually behaves—so your notes look like your notes. The catch is austerity: no front light, no app circus, and the best cloud sync features live behind a subscription. Battery life is comfortably in the “weeks, not days” camp if you’re mostly scribbling, and it shines for PDFs, mark-ups, and focused drafting.

Expect to pay roughly AUD 500–850 depending on bundle (stylus and folio bump it up), with used units around AUD 350–600. If you want a distraction-free note tool, it’s brilliant; if you want a tablet, buy an actual tablet.
