revs nsw rego check Page 121

In NSW, “REVS” is yesterday’s news; the encumbrance search is the PPSR and it’ll cost about AUD $2.

The free bit is the Service NSW rego check, which confirms registration status and basics, but it won’t reveal finance owing.

Before you hand over cash for that shiny ute on Tradingpost, run a PPSR search with the VIN and save the receipt like a tiny insurance policy.

Two dollars now is cheaper than inheriting someone else’s loan later—your future self will shout you a sausage sizzle in thanks.
