roof top tent dimensions

Roof top tents, those mobile palaces of the adventurous, come in a variety of sizes but typically measure around 200-220 cm in length, 130-150 cm in width, and 30-40 cm in packed height. When deployed, they usually offer a sleeping area of about 210x140 cm, which should be snug but comfy for two average-sized humans or one very selfishly spacious sleeper.

Of course, the exact dimensions can vary wildly depending on brand and model, so if you're hunting for the perfect match, peruse listings on Tradingpost or CarShowroom for precise specs. Remember, size matters—too big and your roof rack might weep, too small and you might find yourself curled like a sardine.

Check the manufacturer's documentation before purchasing to ensure compatibility with your vehicle and camping needs.
