About this page

rotate car tyres

Rotate your tyres about every 10,000 km (or at each service) to keep wear even and your fuel bill less shouty.

For same-size, non-directional tyres, use a front-to-rear with a cross pattern; directional or staggered setups stay on the same side or follow the maker’s stated pattern.

Always reset pressures afterwards, rebalance if you feel vibration, and book an alignment if you see feathering or shoulder wear.

Tighten wheel nuts to the proper torque—not “gorilla tight”—and recalibrate the TPMS if your car is fussy.

If in doubt, a tyre shop can sort it quicker than your coffee cools, saving you driveway yoga.
