run flat tyres bmw cost Page 55

For BMW run‑flat tyres, expect AUD $250–$400 each for common 17–18 inch sizes, and $400–$700+ for 19–20 inch premium rubber, plus $25–$50 a corner for fitting and balancing.

A fresh set with alignment can land between $1,200–$2,800 depending on size and brand—Michelin, Pirelli and Bridgestone sit at the pointy end.

Second‑hand take‑offs typically run $80–$200 per tyre, but check tread depth and the DOT date; old run‑flats age like milk, not wine.

If you’re tempted to switch to conventional tyres, you’ll gain comfort and save cash but lose the limp‑home party trick—pack a repair kit and your bravado.
