sell car without roadworthy vic Page 332

Trying to flog a car in Victoria without a roadworthy certificate? You're in for a bit of a legal tango. By law, you must provide a current roadworthy certificate to sell a registered vehicle. Without it, the buyer may face hefty fines if they try to register the car. Essentially, selling without one is like handing over a ticking time bomb of paperwork headaches. Your best bet? Get that certificate stamped or sell the car as unregistered and let the buyer sort it out—usually reflected in a lower price. For listings, Tradingpost often shows how sellers handle this dilemma.
