selling a vehicle qld Page 7

Selling a vehicle in Queensland requires a bit of bureaucratic tango. First, you must complete and sign the 'Notice of Disposal' form and submit it to the Department of Transport and Main Roads within 14 days of the sale. The buyer will need to transfer registration into their name, and it's wise to provide a receipt showing the sale price for both parties' records. Remember, Queensland does not require a roadworthy certificate to sell a vehicle, but it's often a good idea to have one to sweeten the deal. Also, cancel your insurance to avoid paying for a car you no longer own. For listings, check out Tradingpost or CarShowroom to reach a wider audience.
