selling personalised number plates victoria Page 2

Selling personalised number plates in Victoria is a bit like auctioning off a tiny piece of your identity—only with more paperwork and less drama. You can sell your plates privately or through the Victorian government’s authorised channels. Prices vary wildly depending on desirability, rarity, and how cheeky your plate is. Expect to see anything from a few hundred to tens of thousands of AUD for the truly unique. Remember, the buyer must register the plates in their name, and the sale often requires approval from VicRoads.

For a smooth transaction, check out Tradingpost or CarShowroom for market comparisons and consider contacting VicRoads for official guidance.
