seltos review 2023 Page 2

The 2023 Kia Seltos got a tidy facelift and, like a barista who finally learned latte art, it now looks sharper and works smoother. The base 2.0-litre FWD with CVT is fine for commuting, but the 1.6‑turbo AWD with a proper 8‑speed auto brings real shove for overtakes if you fancy a bit of sparkle. Cabin space is generous for a small SUV, the tech is modern (big screens, phone mirroring), and the safety kit is comprehensive—though the lane-keep can nag like a backseat driver. Ride is a touch firm on bigger wheels, but it keeps things tidy on dodgy Aussie tarmac and road noise is well contained for the class. In Australia, new pricing typically sits around AUD $29k–$45k plus on-roads, while used 2023 examples hover around AUD $27k–$40k depending on trim and kilometres. If you want fuss-free daily duty with a dash of pep, the turbo is the pick; if you value simplicity and economy, the 2.0 does the job without drama.
