Chasing the Silo Art Trail map in Victoria? Good choice—it's the rare road trip where staring at concrete counts as culture.
The route runs through the Wimmera–Mallee, roughly Rupanyup → Sheep Hills → Brim → Rosebery → Lascelles → Patchewollock, about 200 km end-to-end.
Start from Horsham or Warracknabeal, grab a paper map at a visitor centre, fuel up, and watch for roos at dusk.
Best light is sunrise or late arvo; most towns have loos, bakeries, and easy parking, but mobile reception can be patchy.
Download maps beforehand and you’ll be cruising between giants like a very smug cultural ambassador.
