sleep at werribee zoo Page 21

Yes, you can sleep at Werribee Open Range Zoo, and no, the lions don’t do wake-up calls—though they might audition at dawn. The Slumber Safari puts you in safari-style lodges with views over the savannah, plus guided evening and morning tours when the animals are actually doing things. Dinner and breakfast are included, so you can swap camp-stove noodles for something you’d photograph. It’s family-friendly on select dates, and bookings vanish faster than hot chips near an emu, so plan ahead. Pack warm layers, sensible shoes, and your sense of adventure. Check details and availability with Zoos Victoria before you go, because nature doesn’t read your calendar.
