south korea power socket Page 72

Heading to South Korea and wondering what to plug into? The standard power socket is Type F (Schuko), happily accepting Type C plugs as well.

Mains supply is 220 V at 60 Hz, so your Aussie gadgets (which expect 230 V/50 Hz) are usually fine on voltage, but our Type I plugs won’t fit without an adapter.

Grab a slim travel adapter (or a universal one if you fancy feeling prepared), and check your chargers are rated “100–240 V, 50/60 Hz”.

Some hotels sprinkle in multi-standard sockets, but treat that like free minibar snacks—nice surprise, never guaranteed.

Consult official documentation for exact figures.
