speed limit p plate nsw Page 967

In NSW, P‑plate drivers (P1 and P2) can drive at the posted speed limit—yes, up to 110 km/h—because the old 90/100 caps were scrapped years ago.

Don’t mix it up with learners, who are still capped at 90 km/h.

The usual fun-police rules still apply: zero BAC, strict mobile phone bans, and extra‑spicy penalties if you speed.

If you’re crossing borders, check the local rules, but on NSW roads the sign is your limit, not your plates.
