Chassis-wise it’s tidy and eager, with quality suspension and Brembo stoppers giving it the sort of confidence that flatters average riders on lumpy Aussie backroads.

The ergonomics are upright and comfy, the electronics (ride modes, ABS, traction control) are sensibly tuned, and the finish looks suitably premium without shouting about it.

Downsides? Limited wind protection, a firm seat over long stints, and heat from that big twin when summer cooks the tarmac.

If you want retro looks with modern manners, this one nails the brief without pretending to be a track relic.
