The 2023 Subaru Outback’s cabin is like a country pub that’s been renovated—still rugged, but now with a big shiny bar in the middle.

The star is the 11.6-inch portrait touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, flanked by sensible hard buttons so you’re not stabbing at pixels on corrugations.

Materials step up in higher trims (water-repellent seat trim in Sport, plush Nappa in Touring), and the second row is properly adult-friendly with decent toe room and wide doors.

Cargo space is broad and square, the load lip is low, and the 60/40 split-fold rear seats drop flat enough for bikes, dogs, and questionable life choices.

It’s quiet, comfy, and full of useful storage nooks—less flashy than some rivals, but built to cop real Aussie use without a hissy fit. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
