sway vs powerpoint

Sway is Microsoft’s breezy, web-first storyteller; PowerPoint is the veteran slide-deck general with medals, ribbons, and a thousand templates.

Go Sway when you want quick, mobile-friendly presentations without fuss; go PowerPoint when you need precision control, offline reliability, and every transition known to humankind.

• Sway – Pros: Simple, web-based, responsive layouts, easy sharing.
• Sway – Cons: Limited fine-tuning, fewer features, weaker offline options.
• PowerPoint – Pros: Deep features, rich animations, templates, offline use, enterprise-friendly.
• PowerPoint – Cons: Can be fiddly, heavier files, easy to make snoozefests.

Choose the one that suits your audience and timeline, then pretend it was all part of the plan.
