taxi cost brisbane

Looking to catch a cab in Brisbane without selling a kidney? Taxi fares here start with a flagfall of around AUD 3.60, then it's roughly AUD 1.80 to 2.20 per kilometre. Waiting times and booking fees might add a few extra bucks, so don't be surprised if your short trip feels like a mini investment.

For those who like to shop around, ridesharing often offers cheaper alternatives. But if it's a classic taxi you want, check Tradingpost and CarShowroom for any special deals or promotions, or use ServiceCentral to compare rates.
