As tempting as it sounds, Tesla vehicles do not support Apple CarPlay, and there’s no official indication that this will change anytime soon. Tesla prefers to keep its own infotainment ecosystem locked tighter than Fort Knox, offering features like navigation, music streaming, and voice commands through its custom interface.

Users hoping to mirror their iPhone screens or apps will be sorely disappointed, though third-party hacks and adapters sometimes pop up, but they’re about as reliable as a kangaroo on a trampoline. For those who crave CarPlay, you might need to look elsewhere or simply embrace Tesla’s quirky tech.
