tesla highland review Page 16

The Tesla Highland, a refresh of the Model Y, is Tesla's attempt to keep its EV crown shiny and new. It flaunts a sleeker design, improved interior materials, and a revised infotainment system that tries to out-tech your smartphone. Performance-wise, expect brisk acceleration typical of Tesla, with a range hovering around 540 km on the WLTP cycle, depending on the variant. The updated suspension and sound insulation aim to soften the ride and mute the usual EV hum, though some might still find it a bit too firm. Pricing in Australia is yet to solidify but expect a premium over the current Model Y, with used models likely to settle somewhat lower on CarShowroom or Tradingpost. If you're after cutting-edge tech wrapped in a familiar package, the Highland might tick your boxes, though don't expect it to reinvent the wheel entirely.
