tesla portable charger

Ah, the Tesla portable charger—because everyone loves lugging around a brick that can juice up their electric chariot on the go. Officially known as the Tesla Mobile Connector, it offers charging speeds up to 32 amps on a suitable outlet, which translates to roughly 11 kW of power. It’s compatible with standard household outlets and can be paired with various adapters for different socket types, making it somewhat versatile, if you don’t mind the cable spaghetti. New units typically retail around AUD 500 to 700, while used options on Tradingpost or CarShowroom might save you a few bucks.

Keep in mind, it’s not exactly pocket-sized, and charging times can be glacial compared to a Supercharger station. For those who enjoy the thrill of waiting, it’s a perfect companion.
