tesla screen

Ah, the Tesla screen – the love-it-or-hate-it centrepiece of every Tesla. It’s essentially the car’s brain and entertainment system, boasting a large touchscreen (15-17 inches depending on model) that controls everything from navigation to climate and even your wiper settings. The resolution is sharp and the interface slick, but beware: it’s a distraction magnet and can be a nightmare if it freezes.

Prices for Teslas vary widely, but new models with these screens start around $70,000 AUD and can soar well over $150,000 AUD for top-tier versions. Second-hand options are widely available on Tradingpost and CarShowroom, often at more wallet-friendly prices.

For those who worship tech, the Tesla screen is a dream. For the rest, it’s a constant reminder that you’re driving a giant tablet on wheels.
