Hunting for thermal pools in Sydney? Short answer: the Harbour City doesn’t have natural hot springs—just cracking ocean pools and heated baths.

For the real steamy stuff, aim for Yarrangobilly Caves Thermal Pool in Kosciuszko National Park (about 5–6 hours’ drive; roughly 27°C year-round).

Further north, you’ve got the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre and Lightning Ridge Bore Baths, with Burren Junction also doing the toasty honours.

Closer to Sydney you’ll find man-made heated pools and day spas, but they’re not geothermal, whatever the brochure whispers. Pack snacks, a thermos, and a playlist that forgives country kilometres—you’ll earn the soak.
