tiguan 2022 interior

The 2022 Tiguan’s cabin feels grown-up without going full boardroom—clean lines, sturdy plastics, and just enough chrome to say “I tried.”

Depending on trim, you get a 10.25-inch digital cluster and an 8.0–9.2-inch infotainment with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, plus touch-slider climate controls that look slick and occasionally trigger your inner sailor.

Practicality is the point: generous storage, supportive seats, and a boot at about 615 L (seats up) and roughly 1,655 L (seats folded) in the 5-seat, with the Allspace adding two occasional seats for kids or very optimistic adults.

Noise insulation is solid, ride’s comfy, and the steering wheel haptic buttons will either delight or mildly infuriate—no in-between.

Higher grades lift the vibe with ambient lighting, nicer trim, and handy bits like a wireless charger and extra USB-Cs.
