Tokyo Car Show 2023 was rebadged as the Japan Mobility Show, rolling into Tokyo Big Sight in late October to early November 2023.

Less chest-thumping horsepower, more EVs, software smarts, and kei-sized curiosities with enough charm to outwit rush hour.

Headliners included the Toyota FT-Se and FT-3e concepts, the Honda Prelude Concept, Mazda Iconic SP, Nissan’s wild Hyper Force (plus its Hyper siblings), and Subaru’s Sport Mobility concept.

Hydrogen tinkering, battery teasers, and screens by the hectare hinted at the next decade of commuting and bragging rights.

In short: fewer exhaust pipes, more electrons, and enough optimism to power Shibuya crossing—if only optimism counted as kilowatts.
