toyota c-hr reviews Page 2

The Toyota C‑HR is the small SUV for people who like their sensible shoes with neon laces.

It rides and handles better than most of its rivals, feels well screwed together, and the hybrid versions sip fuel like it’s $10 a litre.

But rear headroom and vision are tight, the boot’s only okay, and the early 1.2‑turbo models are more patient than punchy.

Infotainment improved with later updates (hello Apple CarPlay/Android Auto), cabin materials are decent, and Toyota’s safety tech is generous across the range.

If you want drama without drama, it’s a smart pick; just make sure you can live with the back seat and the pace.
