The 2022 Toyota HiAce interior is more tool shed than lounge room, but it’s sensibly laid out and tough where it matters.
You get an upright driving position, big mirrors, loads of storage cubbies and bottle holders, plus a touchscreen with smartphone integration and chunky buttons you can prod with work gloves.
Seating options: 2-seat Van, 5-seat Crew Van, and Commuter Bus with up to 12 seats, with sliding side doors for easy access.
Safety tech is generous for a van—AEB, lane assist and active cruise—so the cabin feels modern even if the vinyl flooring is ready for muddy boots.
The cargo area is square and tie-down friendly with a low step-in and a partition to keep rattles out of your ears; built for tradies, not TikTok.
