toyota hybrid wait time Page 7

Short answer: Toyota hybrid wait times in Australia are still a patience test, though improving.

For hot tickets like the RAV4 and Corolla Cross hybrids, many buyers face several months in the queue—often anywhere from 3 to 12+ months depending on model, spec, colour, and dealer allocation.

Less in-demand hybrids (Corolla, Yaris Cross, Camry in certain trims) can be quicker, especially if you’re flexible on options or happy with a dealer demo.

Speed things up by widening your search radius, asking dealers about incoming allocations, and being open to alternate colours or trim packs.

If your timeline is tight, consider in‑stock petrol equivalents, nearly‑new used, or other brands’ hybrids—your sanity (and ride) may arrive sooner. Yes, the irony of waiting to save fuel isn’t lost on anyone.
