Ah, Toyota and hydrogen in Australia—a tale of ambition meeting the vast Aussie outback. Toyota has been dabbling in hydrogen fuel cell tech, notably with the Mirai model, which cruises on nothing but hydrogen and emits only water vapour. Key specs: the Mirai offers around 650 km range on a full tank and a refuel time of about 5 minutes. However, Australia's hydrogen refuelling infrastructure is as rare as a cool day in Darwin, limiting practical use.

New Mirai models in Australia cost roughly between $80,000 to $100,000 AUD, while used ones are rare and pricey. For those keen on eco-friendly tech but lacking refuelling spots, better to keep an eye on market listings like CarShowroom or Tradingpost for updates. Consult official Toyota Australia documentation for the latest on availability and support.
