“Toyota ISOFIX” basically means: most late‑model Toyotas in Australia have ISOFIX lower anchors in the two outboard rear seats, plus the mandatory top tether. Models from around 2014 onward (Corolla, RAV4, Camry, Kluger, Prado and friends) are generally covered, while older cars may be top‑tether only. In Australia you use ISOFIX with the top tether—don’t double‑up with the seatbelt unless the child seat explicitly says so. Middle seats often miss out on ISOFIX, so check your vehicle manual and the child seat’s fitment guide. If you’re shopping, confirm anchor locations and seat counts; if you already own one, a quick feel between the seat base and backrest will find the little metal loops faster than you can say “nap time”.
