toyota kluger spark plug replacement Page 2

Most Toyota Klugers run a V6, which means three plugs are easy and the other three are playing hide-and-seek behind the intake manifold—so budget time (or patience) accordingly. Use quality iridium spark plugs and set the gap to the spec in your owner’s manual; don’t wing it unless you fancy misfires for dessert. The job involves removing coil packs, swapping plugs one bank at a time, and torquing to spec—snug, not gorilla. Many Kluger V6s use long-life plugs, so check the handbook for the exact interval rather than guessing. Parts are typically AUD $100–$250 for a full set, labour can be 2–4 hours, so a workshop bill around AUD $400–$900 is normal. If yours is the newer hybrid four-cylinder, access is generally kinder—but the same rules of cleanliness, correct gap, and proper torque still apply.
