toyota servicing price Page 34

For new Toyotas in Australia, most models fall under Toyota’s capped-price servicing, typically every 12 months/15,000 km (some utes/4x4s are 6 months/10,000 km). Expect roughly AUD $180–$260 per scheduled service for many mainstream models during the capped period (usually 3–5 years), with bigger rigs sometimes a touch more. For used Toyotas outside the capped window, minor/major services at dealers or independents commonly land around AUD $350–$800, depending on engine, age, and what’s due (fluids, filters, plugs, valve shims if you’re unlucky). Extras like brakes, tyres, and transmission services are on top—no free lunch, even for reliable Toyotas. Want real numbers? Get a quote from your local dealer and an independent, or try ServiceCentral for comparisons. It’s still cheaper than ignoring maintenance and funding a surprise engine rebuild.
