transformer car

Ah, the elusive "transformer car"—not your average hatchback, unless Optimus Prime is moonlighting as your daily driver. If you're dreaming of a vehicle that morphs from a car to a robot faster than you can say "autobots, roll out," you're mostly looking at custom-built showpieces or toys rather than road-legal vehicles.

In the real world, no manufacturer sells cars that morph into giant robots, but you can find transformer-themed cars or mods inspired by the movies. Prices? Well, for toys and collectibles, expect anywhere from $50 to a few hundred AUD, while real-life custom projects can run into thousands.

For a taste of transformer cars on the market, check out tradingpost.com.au or CarShowroom for themed vehicles and custom builds. But if you're after real specs and reliable transport, stick to traditional cars and leave the robot battles to the movies.
