uniden igo cam 75r review

The Uniden iGO Cam 75R is a dash cam that tries to do everything, but does it all with varying degrees of enthusiasm. It boasts 1080p Full HD recording and a wide 140-degree viewing angle, which should cover most of your daily driving dramas. Features like GPS tracking, Wi-Fi connectivity, and speed camera alerts attempt to make it more than just a glorified video recorder.

However, users often grumble about the somewhat clunky menu system and occasional GPS glitches. Video quality is decent during the day but tends to disappoint in low light conditions, which is a bit of a letdown for a device of its price range, roughly between AUD 150 and 250 new.

If you're hunting for second-hand options, Tradingpost and CarShowroom sometimes have listings, but expect to pay considerably less and prepare for potential issues.

All in all, it’s a competent dash cam with a few quirks; consult the official manual for detailed specs and setup instructions.
